Community College of Phila. Restrooms Get a Facelift
When the third Philadelphia mint was sited for demolition in 1972, the United States Treasury Department donated the building to the Community College of Philadelphia. In 2010 DCM Architecture & Engineering of Camden, NJ was brought in to upgrade the existing student and faculty rest- rooms in the four main buildings. They chose Keystone Sales to supply the new equipment.
Mayor Michael Nutter Unveils Solar Water Heating
System for Riverside Correctional Facility

The first large urban jail in the country to install roof-based solar water heating system
Mayor Michael A. Nutter unveiled today a roof-based solar water heating system at the Philadelphia Prison System’s Riverside Correctional Facility (RCF), the first large urban jail in the country to install such a system. The project will provide energy savings of 20-25% annually over the anticipated 25-year life of the system, saving an estimated $1.1
million and one million pounds of carbon emissions.

Comcast Center, Philadelphia
The Comcast Center is a skyscraper currently under construction in Center City Philadelphia. When completed, it will be the largest "Green Building" in the world. As of June 18, 2007, it became the tallest building in Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in an official topping-out ceremony led by Philadelphia Mayor John F. Street. It is scheduled to be completed in March 2008.

The construction of the 90,000 square foot two-level gaming space including a food court began in September of 2005 with the removal of the facility's old grandstand. The investment in this Phase I project was approximately $72.6 million. The casino operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week and houses almost 1,100 new slot machines with denominations ranging from one cent to $25.

The main ballpark entrance is the 3rd Base Gate, which features a statue of Mike Schmidt. The lower deck features a splendid 360-degree concourse that wraps around the entire ballpark and turns into Ashburn Alley in the outfield.
